About Our Philanthropy

Phi Delta Theta’s philanthropy is the Phi Delt Phive K. This philanthropy is a five-kilometer race to raise awareness and benefit research for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), better known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. The cost to enter the race is $10 and all of the profit made from the race is donated to the ALS Association.

The Organization

The Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Association is the only national non-profit organization currently fighting ALS. They are currently leading the way in research. The goal of the organization is to lead the fight, treat, and cure ALS through global research and nationwide support. The organization also offers compassionate care and support to those with the disease.
