About Our Philanthropy

Phi Gamma Delta participates in many philanthropies graciously, fundraising almost $100,000 for several organizations such as Tri Delta FlapJack, Alpha Phi Cardiac Arrest, Hoosiers Outrun Cancer, and Indiana University Dance Marathon (IUDM). The main fundraiser of FIJI is IUDM for the Riley Children's Hospital. The brothers of the Zeta chapter are extremely involved in IUDM. They hold several executive positions and maintain a large presence in IUDM committees.

Last Year's Philanthropy

This past year Phi Gamma Delta raised the most money of any Greek organization for Indiana University Dance Marathon. In 2012, they raised about $85,000 for IUDM. In terms of getting involved, they hold six executive positions including those involved in and responsible for the financial, internal, and external operations of the event.

The Organization

Indiana University Dance Marathon is the second largest student run philanthropy in the nation. This past year, the organization raised over two million dollars for the Children’s Miracle Network at the Ryan White Infections Disease Center at the Riley Children's Hospital. In total, IUDM has raised over 14 million dollars over the years.
